Before acting...

Philip has six years of TV & film production experience. In 2015, he assisted Richard Gere on the movie NORMAN and would go on to assist executive producers for LIMITLESS on CBS. His other production experience includes Netflix's ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK and Ryan Murphy's THE NORMAL HEART for HBO.

SET LIFE

In 2011, Philip worked as a PA under the guidance of Adele Romanski (MOONLIGHT) on Katie Aselton and Mark Duplass' BLACKROCK (Sundance). The small but extremely talented cast and crew was nothing short of inspiring to him and set the tone of projects he would pursue in the future. He landed in the camera and grip departments and worked as third grip on HELLO I MUST BE GOING (Sundance) and as an AC under cinematographer Chris Teague on BOB AND THE TREES (KVIFF) and THE MEND (SXSW).

"I am grateful every time I step on set...

...but those first few movies were so informative to my growth as an actor and just as a person in general. The relationships I formed with other crew members and with people of communities we filmed in revealed what matters most to me are in fact people. And even more, learning what drives and motivates them. Listening is a powerful tool... I should probably tell them I'm talking to my roommate right?" (Thanks Tom)
